Optoma HZ40 – Pros and Cons

When it comes to laser projectors, the Optoma HZ40 embodies the positives and negatives of budget laser projectors. While it is not an excellent choice for a complete home entertainment projector, it does offer a laser light source, 4K HDR playback, and 4000 lumens of brightness. It is also available in European markets for PS1249.

One of the biggest pros and cons of the Optoma HZ40 is its price. The price is considerably higher than the ZH403, making it more expensive than its predecessor. The Optoma HZ40 has a lower price, but you’ll have to shell out an additional $800 for a higher-end model. Despite the lower price, it is able to play 4K sources, although their resolution is only 1920 x 1080. While the latter doesn’t support 3D, it does support AMX and Telnet news247 com.

The HZ40 is a much better option if you’re looking for a projector that’s capable of projecting in non-blackened rooms. It doesn’t have the high brightness needed for a blacked-out room, and is prone to rainbow interference. It also struggles with SDR colours, and doesn’t offer enough flexibility for laser lighting Worldnewsite.
